How I Use ChatGPT and Claude at Work

I use AI as a working partner, not an authority
ChatGPT and Claude help me explore an idea, challenge an assumption, organize information and move from a blank page to a useful first version. I do not treat either system as the final decision-maker. The value comes from combining their speed with human context and responsibility.
Different tasks benefit from different tools
I use AI for drafting, summarizing, comparing options, structuring plans and reviewing technical or business material. I may ask both tools to examine the same problem because different approaches can reveal gaps. The objective is not to choose a favourite model. It is to improve the quality of the work.
AI helps me move between strategy and execution
As a CEO, I may work on positioning, an operating process, a website, a security workflow and a product idea in the same week. AI helps turn rough thinking into outlines, checklists, specifications and drafts that a person can review and improve.
Sensitive information still needs boundaries
Convenience does not remove the responsibility to protect customer and company information. AI use needs approved tools, clear data rules and judgment about what should never be entered into a public or unapproved system. A useful workflow must also be a safe workflow.
The final responsibility remains mine
I review important claims, decisions and actions before they are published or implemented. AI can accelerate analysis and production, but it cannot own the outcome. That boundary is central to how I use ChatGPT and Claude and how I advise clients to adopt AI.
